My hands and feet will also feel cold indoors. So don’t think that since Guangzhou is in the south, you don’t need warm clothes.
As for the air conditioner, my home runs from May to October. Unless there is a typhoon, it will still be very hot with just the fan.

The tenth day of the lunar month ends from August 9th to August 18th.
